Point of Light Publishing was inspired by our flagship author, Debra Baker, whose profound story of triumph over religious indoctrination lit the way for countless others seeking truth and personal sovereignty.

Among the voices Debra found strength in was Ella Baker (no relation), a fierce advocate in the American civil rights movement. Ella's philosophy centered on empowering everyday people, particularly young and marginalized voices, to speak for themselves. This is the core of everything we publish
